Tampa Bay’s Campaign Weekender for Aug. 22-24

As the final campaign weekend prior to Tuesday’s primary elections approaches, State House District 61 candidate Ed Narain will be holding a campaign push with a Friends and Family Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 23. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Gus Trent Horse Ranch, Shadowlawn Avenue and 22 Street in East Tampa. Tickets are $10, and Ice Cream’s Delicious Turkey legs and BBQ will be available. Pinellas County School Board candidate Maureen Ahern announced her weekend sign-waving schedule, which includes:

  • Friday, Aug. 22 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at 49th Street and 94th Avenue North in St. Petersburg
  • Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. – noon at 49th Street and Park Boulevard in Pinellas Park
  • Monday, Aug. 25 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Starkey Road and Park Boulevard in Seminole

Ahern’s campaign colors are red, white and blue, and she requests any volunteers to wear one — or all — of those colors.
