Tampa Bay’s most powerful politicians: #7 – Tom Lee

#7 on the list of Tampa Bay’s most powerful politicians is Senator Tom Lee.

“It is an honor to know Tom Lee, as a friend, as my Senator and a fellow board member on the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Board.  True leaders hold many qualities, we see this in Tom Lee.  He is a person of passion and dedication, to his constituents, his fellow legislative members and to the grassroots of Hillsborough County Republicans.  He has shown since being elected Chairman of HCRP, an election I fully supported and recommended, his belief in the power of our grassroots, has rolled up his sleeves and taken on the task of our county party on a day to day basis.  Even though he has been in  committee meetings in Tallahassee, he has showed commitment to our party and his elected office,  by being present and presiding over every board meeting and returning to chair our REC meetings each and every time. Whether it be speaking at a small business town hall, talking strategy with a volunteer, in a board meeting or in the halls of the capitol, I have seen him inspire confidence in others, and by his actions draws out the trust and best efforts of those around him to complete the team task at hand. I believe he truly portrays  the attributes of a leader – honesty, ability to delegate, good communication, a sense of humor, confidence, commitment, positive attitude, intuition and also the ability to inspire.  You could not chose a better person than Tom Lee for this list.  Honored to have him in Hillsborough County.” — Deborah Cox-Roush, Vice Chair of the Hillsborough Republican Executive Committee
