Tea Party doc David McKalip reveals who he thinks he will be challenging for St. Pete City Council

Creative Loafing‘s Mitch Perry picked up on the story about controversial Tea Party doc David McKalip running for St. Pete City Council in 2013, pinning down McKalip on who he is referring to when he says he will likely “face at least two candidates who have advocated higher taxes, less freedom, bigger government and backward policies that have hobbled our local economy.”

CL contacted McKalip (to learn) if he was specifying anyone in particular in that comment. He responded Sunday night that he has heard from “credible sources that Darden Rice and Virginia Littrell will run in 2013.”

Reading the conspiratorial tone of pretty much everything this guy has to say, I am seriously disappointed that he is not on the ballot now and that we all have to wait until 2013 to see this guy embarrass himself.
