When you run as the darling of a group of people who hate the establishment, perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that once you win and become part of the power structure you’re by definition on the outs with the people who elected you. U.S. Rep. Allen West is finding that conundrum shaping up – the tea party poster boy is now getting some heat from … the tea party.  The South Florida Sun-Sentinel has a story today (via The News Service of Florida) in which one tea partier accuses West of having “chickened out” in voting to raise the debt ceiling.

The Sun-Sentinel story is here.
