The key takeaway from today’s Quinnipiac Poll

Looking at the crosstabs in the latest Quinnipiac Poll of Florida, the key takeaways pop out very quickly.

Women are pissed.

Barack Obama leads Mitt Romney by fourteen points among women. Obama leads Rick Santorum by nineteen points among women.

How’s that debate over contraception working out for ya, GOP?

Not very well, if you look at this poll.

Mitt Romney’s favorable/unfavorable ratings among women is upside down at 36%/37%. Santorum fares worse at 26%/36%.

This is in a state with a Republican governor and cabinet and super majorities in the Legislture.

As Joe Scarborough remarked after he saw these number this morning, it’s “stunning.”
