Ladies and gentlemen, here is your no sh*t column of the week courtesy of Betty Parker of the News-Press.
“Scott vs. Crist governor’s race could get nasty.”
What would ever make Parker conclude that? Perhaps the facts that is already a nasty race (just look at this past week’s back-and-forth between Scottworld and Crist’s camp as evidence of that)
Actually, this dispatch from Captain Obvious is not entirely Parker’s doing. She’s just reporting on the analysis provided by my former mentor, Dr. Susan MacManus, at a recent Tiger Bay program.
Parker writes, “The race for governor, which most expect to pit Democrat Charlie Crist against Republican Gov. Rick Scott, is widely expected to be the nastiest, most expensive race in the country, MacManus said.”
Again, no sh*t.
Explain to me how MacManus’ pedestrian, for-the-lowest-common-denominator analysis deserves weekend column treatment.
