This one video demonstrates why Charlie Crist will win in November

It’s just one video and it lasts only thirty-one seconds.

Yet, this one video via The Palm Beach Post tells you all you need to know about why Charlie Crist will win in November.

After addressing the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Crist goes right up to Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera and, in the blink of the eye, all but pulls CLC’s pants down as the LG attempts to answer questions from reporters.

After Crist tongue-ties the LG with a handshake, a smile, and an unknowing nod to an Andy Samberg skit on Saturday Night Live (Say hi to your mother for me!), the former governor dismisses Lopez-Cantera by saying he’ll have to debate the lieutenant governor candidate.

Walking away, Crist pivots and then delivers what should be the official hashtag of his campaign: “Gimme Scott.”

The LG had no answer for Crist’s smackdown, just as the Florida GOP really doesn’t have a strategy for dealing with Crist, other than saying it plans to spend a lot of money attacking him over Obamacare.

Meanwhile, Crist demonstrates he’s the fighter that Florida Democrats have been missing for who-knows-how-long.

Not once in their political careers did Bill McBride-Jim Davis-Alex Sink deliver a zinger like Crist did today.
