The new polls from New Hampshire all show Mitt Romney headed for a big primary win next Tuesday.

NBC-Marist Poll: Mitt Romney 42%, Ron Paul 22%, Rick Santorum 13%, Newt Gingrich 9%, Jon Huntsman 9%, Rick Perry 1%.

WMUR-UNH Poll: Mitt Romney 44%, Ron Paul 20%, Newt Gingrich 8%, Rick Santorum 8%, Jon Huntsman 7%, Rick Perry 1%.

Franklin Center Poll: Mitt Romney 37%, Ron Paul 19%, Jon Huntsman 16%, Rick Santorum 14%, Newt Gingrich 9%, Rick Perry 1%.

The Washington Post reports “After preparing for a drawn-out nominating battle that would stretch well into the spring, Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign is now quietly shifting gears in an effort to steamroll his underfunded opponents — and lock up the Republican nomination by the Florida primary at the end of this month.”

“Romney campaign advisers insist that they are moving forward one state at a time and not taking any contest for granted. Yet Republican observers see Romney executing an ambitious strategy that would quickly maximize his momentum and try to quash any further surges by his rivals.”
