Three problems with this press release re: Nan Rich’s BBQ in West Pasco

in Uncategorized by

Gubernatorial candidate Nan Rich’s campaign distributed an advisory alerting the press that the former state Senator is speaking at 1 p.m. at the West Pasco Democratic Club BBQ.

I only have three issues with this event.

1. It involves listening to Nan Rich, who remains in fantasy land about the state of her campaign. Charlie Crist isn’t just leading her, he’s lapped her — several times. She needs to get out of the way so that Florida Democrats can focus on the general election.

2. The event is taking place in Port Richey, which, no matter where you live, is maddeningly difficult to get to.

3. Rich is speaking at a BBQ, which normally would be reason enough to attend any event, but who wants to eat hot, steaming pork in one hundred degree weather?

Sorry, Senator Rich, like so many of your previous events, I won’t be attending this one, either.
