Jen Holloway, Bright House spokeswoman and former Bay News 9 anchor charged with DUI Sunday in Polk County, according to arrest records.

Holloway is reported to have had a blood alcohol level of 0.183, recorded on a breath test, and also failed field sobriety tests.

According to Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Holloway’s car was reported by another driver who called deputies complaining that the driver of this vehicle was driving recklessly and nearly hit another vehicle.

According to the first deputy who responded, he saw Holloway run off the road and travel about 20 feet before returning to the road. The deputy pulled Holloway over and smelled alcohol on her breath.

TBO.com reported that Holloway responded to the deputies that she had three drinks at a friend’s home in Bradenton and was driving home. She said her friend works for the St. Petersburg Police Department and asked deputies to let her “just get home.”

Deputies said that Holloway stumbled when she got out of her car for a sobriety test and at one point grabbed the deputy’s arm to keep from falling over.
