Ashley Ross, the top fundraiser for Senate President-designate Joe Negron, is returning to a post at the Republican Party of Florida.

Ross will serve as Finance Director for the Florida Republican Senate Campaign Committee (Senate Majority), Negron announced Wednesday morning.

Ross’ return to the Florida GOP comes after a brief stint working directly for Negron’s political committee during the Negron vs. Jack Latvala scrum for the Senate Presidency.

In her new position, Ross will be responsible for overseeing the fundraising efforts and assisting us in our mission of maintaining our Republican Majority in the 2016 election cycle.

Ross, previously profiled as one of the rising stars in Florida politics, entered the industry with a love of face-paced work and the feeling of changing lives for the better.

Ross has worked for Gov. Jeb Bush, the PGA of America, and credits Jim Magill, Chris Flack, Joel Springer and Cameron Ulrich for giving her a first shot.
