Tampa Bay’s largest labor union, the West Central Florida Federation of Labor (AFL-CIO), has endorsed Rick Kriseman’s campaign for Mayor of Saint Petersburg.

“I am proud to have the support of the brothers and sisters of the West Central Florida Federation of Labor,” said Kriseman. “I have a track record of standing up for working class people in St. Petersburg and throughout the state. As Mayor, I will continue to fight for a strong middle class and a robust economy that treats people fairly.”

The West Central Federation of Labor represents active and retired members from over 120 labor unions.

“Rick will bring proven experience and leadership to the mayor’s office.  He has much-needed vision to move the city forward while embracing and addressing the needs of all its citizens.” Lynne Webb, President, West Central Florida Federation of Labor (AFL-CIO Central Labor Council).

The West Central Federation of Labor endorsed Kriseman unanimously.
