Voting in the first-round of TallyMadness — the online competition to determine Florida’s “best” lobbyist — ends midnight Tuesday.
The winners of the 32 first-round match-ups will be first announced in Wednesday’s edition of Sunburn, my morning read of what’s hot in Florida politics. Second-round voting will begin at noon Wednesday and last through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
More than 10,000 votes have been cast so far in TallyMadness.
Several match-ups are still neck and neck, including #4 seed Paul Bradshaw vs. #13 seed Monesia Brown, who are only separated by 5 votes. #5 seed Ron LaFace and #12 seed Lori Killinger are also all but tied at this point in the competition.
Several underdogs are primed to pull off gigantic upsets, including #15 seed Andy Palmer, who is throttling the defending champ, #2 seed Jon Johnson.
