Scott Wagman insults Deveron Gibbons at photo shoot

The ever-growing field of St. Petersburg mayoral candidates gathered today at The St. Petersburg Times’ offices for a series of interviews and a group photo shot of all those who have filed to run. Everyone except Deveron Gibbons, who had a board meeting at St. Petersburg College. Bill Foster jokingly suggested that the Times superimpose Gibbons into the photo. To which, Scott Wagman, who was already noticeably uncomfortable, offerred that Gibbons was in “someone else’s pocket.” This is yet another gaffe from the inexperienced Wagman, whose campaign advisors, some suggest, may be behind the anti-Gibbons website whatiswrongwithdeveron.blogspot.com.
