Well, here’s one way Rep. Tom Goodson proves he lives in HD 50

In recent days, Rep. Tom Goodson has come under fire from his primary opponent, George Collins, for not residing in the State House district he represents.

Collins has noted that Goodson uses a $65,410 golf-course community condominium in Titusville for his District 50 address, rather than a $416,410, four-bedroom waterfront property in Rockledge that he owns with his wife. Goodson claims a homestead exemption on the Rockledge property.

“It sounds a little cozy to be staying at your daughter’s apartment,” said Collins, a local Tea Party member who teaches public speaking courses at Valencia College.

Sure, sure, Mr. Collins, but you’re doing your argument no favors when you mail your campaign materials to Goodson at his HD 50 address. In fact, you’re basically saying Goodson does live where he says he lives.

Below is a photo of the mailer Collins mailed to Goodson, in which he attacks Goodson for not living at the address Collins sent the mailer.

Talk about irony defined.
