Hogan rips into Blackhawks as trash-talk escalates

in Sports/Top Headlines by

God bless the Hulkster.

He means well.

Hulk Hogan called out Chicago wrestler C.M. Punk (who?) this week, pointing out that the Blackhawks are “in a lot of trouble” and they should take their puck and go home. CM can show them the way.”

That might be a delightful little side dish, because no one can trash talk quite like Hogan, the former pro wrestler. But the artist known as Punk had the last laugh when he pointed out that Hogan referred to Tampa Bay Lightning coach Jon Cooper as “Jon Connor,” presumably getting him confused with the guy from the Terminator movies. And Hogan called Steven Stamkos “Stamko.”

“Now, normally, the less said about Hulk Hogan the better,” Punk said. “but he spoke my name first. So I would like to point out that the Tampa Bay organization as a whole should be embarrassed for hitching their trailers to such a piece of garbage.”

At this point, it is fairly certain that someone flexed and ripped off their t-shirt.
