A team stuck in the traffic has a new license plate

in Sports/Top Headlines by

In their efforts to drive toward success, the Tampa Bay Bucs have a new license plate.

The Bucs have announced that a new car license plate is for sale at all Tax Collector offices and www.myfloridaspecialtyplate.com. It has white lettering on a dark background, with the familiar red-and-white flag. The Bucs’ flag has been the most popular among the state’s three NFL teams.

Plates can also be had for the Lightning, Rays, Heat, Magic, Marlins, Dolphins, Jaguars, NASCAR and soccer.

The annual cost of the plate is $25; it pays the cost of the plate switch out and state registration fees.

There is no word if coach Lovie Smith has registered for his yet.
