Today, Halsey Beshears, Republican candidate for House District 7 announced the endorsement of Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam. Putnam, elected in 2010, also served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Florida House of Representatives. He credits Beshears’s conservative values, business acumen, and community leadership in his decision to back Beshears for the Florida House of Representatives.

“Halsey understands the challenges Florida’s small business owners face every day. From balancing a budget, navigating the maze of government regulations and making the tough decisions to keep his employees working and meeting tough deadlines; skills which are key for Florida,” said Commissioner Adam Putnam. “The qualities, experience and entrepreneurial spirit Halsey Beshears will bring to Florida’s government will allow him to make an immediate positive impact on our state.”

“I am honored by Commissioner Putnam’s support and endorsement,” said candidate Halsey Beshears. “Leaders like Commissioner Putnam continue to move our state down the road to economic recovery while laying the foundation for Florida’s continued growth as an innovative national and international business location.”
