Another NFL team releases former Buc quarterback Josh Freeman

in Sports/Top Headlines by

For former Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman, March is proving to be one of the hardest months of the NFL season.

Freeman, once again, has been sent packing by his NFL team.

For Freeman, former No. 1 draft pick of Tampa Bay, a job has been hard to hold. Freeman has now been released by the Bucs, the Vikings, the Giants, the Dolphins and the Colts.

The Colts have only two quarterbacks on their roster, starter Andrew Luck and backup Steven Morris. It is unusual for a team to have only two quarterbacks heading into the off-season, before the draft and free agency.

Freeman started his 61st game, a victory over Tennessee, in the season’s final game.
