In a surprising admission made on her website, state House candidate April Sheffield admitted to two more Florida election law violations:
My campaign has received two more complaints from one of my opponent’s supporters (Peter Schorsch). Again we have been in contact with the folks at the Florida Elections Commission…
Our attempt to resolve the complications involving the campaign’s original web site remain in limbo. The Florida Election Commission is aware of the fact that this web site remains live without the required disclaimer. The St Pete Times is planning to do an article about the two web sites. What they will find once they do their research is that Jed Helm, son of Ed Helm, is one of Nick Hinckley’s business partners at Realizing Media and that Mario Farias, former campaign manager for this campaign, has been attempting to muddy the waters in any resolution that we have proposed. It really isn’t a story but we will leave it to the voters to be the ultimate judge with their votes on August 24th.
