The Florida State Seminoles began the 2015-16 basketball season in a big way with a 109-62 win over the Nicholls State Colonels. The Seminoles raced to a 60-32 lead at halftime and never looked back. Dwayne Bacon led Florida State with 23 points while Malik Beasley added 21. Five players scored in double figures and 10 different players scored at least one field goal.
