All of the three frontrunners in the Pinellas County District 4 race  would be at a funding disadvantage in the general election. The top fundraiser in the Republican primary, Johnny Johnson, brought in more than $120,000, but he’s spent most of it. Will Pinellas voter turnout in 2014 surpass 2010 primary?

Pinellas County is about 25,000 votes shy of total votes cast the last time there was a gubernatorial primary in Florida. In 2010, about 147,000 ballots were counted. So far this election, more than 108,000 mail ballots were returned, 1,856 people took part in early voting and, as of noon, 12,050 people had voted at precincts on Election Day. Get smart fast: Early voting and voting by mail in Pinellas

Voters have until Sunday to cast early votes at three Pinellas County elections offices. Early voting started Saturday at the downtown St. Pete office at 501 First Avenue North, the Election Services Center at 13001 Starkey Road in Largo and the County Courthouse at 315 Court Street in downtown Clearwater.
