Cancer Treatment Fairness Act heads to House floor

This week, House Bill 301, the Cancer Treatment Fairness Act passed its final committee stop and is ready to be heard by the Florida House of Representatives.

The bill would require individual or group insurance policies who provide coverage for intravenous chemotherapy to also provide coverage for oral chemotherapy in the same regard.

Representative Jeanette Nuñez, presented this legislation during the 2012 session.
