Can’t he just give it to Aronberg now? Gov. Scott re-opens application process for Palm Beach State Attorney

Today, Governor Rick Scott announced that he is re-opening the call for applications for appointment to the position of State Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, in and for Palm Beach County. The deadline for applications is 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Michael F. McAuliffe, the current State Attorney for the Fifteenth Circuit, has submitted his resignation, effective March 16, 2012. Scott will appoint a State Attorney to serve for the remainder of Mr. McAuliffe’s term, which ends on January 7, 2013.
