Author, executive and political pundit Carly Fiorina will be in the Bay Area next week to discuss empowering women leaders at a downtown Tampa luncheon.
Fiorina, who served as CEO of Hewlett-Packard until 2005, is actively exploring a prospective Republican presidential White House run in 2016.
The Women’s Conference of Florida event, sponsored by Laser Spine Institute, is Thursday, March 19, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Hotel Floridian in Tampa.
In 2014, Fiorina launched the Unlocking Potential Project, a PAC with a mission to engage women voters and promote conservative principles in politics. At the Tampa luncheon, she will address issues facing women every day, and well as talk about her unique experiences as CEO.
At the same time, Fiorina expects to announce an upcoming statewide event that further highlights the role women play in politics and the workforce.
Hotel Floridian is at 905 Florida Ave. in Tampa. Individual tickets are $40.
Information and registration is available on the luncheon’s Eventbrite.com page.
