Gwen Graham releases climate change, environmental policy statement

in 2017 by

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gwen Graham has released a three-part policy statement on dealing with climate change and Florida’s environment, starting with having Florida pursuing compliance with the Paris Accords, something her two Democratic rivals also have endorsed. The policy statement also calls for Florida, if she is elected governor in 2018, to ban fracking and oppose any expansions in off-shore oil drilling, and to invest in a clean-energy economy, starting with solar energy. Cuba hardliners, U.S. defenders battle over new Donald Trump policy

in 2017/Top Headlines by

Cuba’s best friends in the U.S. used to be a smattering of Washington policy wonks and leftists who sent donated school buses and computers to the communist-led island. Five months into the Trump administration, Cuba has a new set of American defenders: a coalition of high-tech firms, farming interests, travel companies and young Cuban-Americans thrown into action by the looming announcement of a new Cuba policy. If that happens, consider it a nod from Trump to Marco Rubio, Florida’s junior U.S.…

Did we just see state and national Republicans mail in [or tweet in] their condolences and best wishes for Orlando’s one-year observation of the Pulse mass-murder that…
