On July 25th, Miami Lakes Councilman Richard Pulido joined by Councilman Tim Duabert, Councilman Nelson Hernandez and Town staff hosted his quarterly Town Hall meeting with Homeowner Associations and several resident community leaders. A tradition that Pulido began with the support and under the leadership of former Mayor Wayne Slaton in 2006 has grown throughout the years as a great opportunity for residents to sit with Town officials in an informal setting and share their concerns, ideas and brainstorm on ways that the Town can continue its partnership efforts with residents to explore ways to better the quality of life in Miami Lakes. Topics such as public safety, park improvements, Town landscaping, public works and beautification initiatives were among topics discussed.

The meeting was attended by community leaders from Lake Elizabeth, Lake Carol, Gramercy Park, Regatta Pointe, Loch Isle, Loch Lomond West, Lake Sandra, Loch Lomond East, Lake Katherine, Lake Martha, Silvercrest Lake Estates North, Loch Andrews, Lake Katherine, Lake Patricia, West Lakes, Celebration Pointe, Lake Sarah, Lake Elizabeth, Lake Patricia and others.
“I’m always proud of these community gatherings. It’s nice when residents have an chance to come together to express what’s on their minds and help us find ways to better our services for our residents” Pulido said.
