While in Kissimmee Wednesday afternoon to announce a 39-year low in the state’s rate of serious crimes, Gov. Charlie Crist said “everyone” who had a Republican Party of Florida credit card should be investigated, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Crist was asked whether he thought U.S. Senate primary rival Marco Rubio’s credit card use should be investigated and replied he wanted “everyone” to be, according to the Sentinel. “By everybody— everybody who had a credit card,” Crist said. “And for the record, I never had one.” Crist also said he hasn’t heard back yet on a request that federal prosecutors investigate former party chairman Jim Greer – who was tapped for the post by Crist – and his arrangement for being paid for fundraising by the party.
