Eagles, Giants try to keep turnaround seasons going on Monday night

Wasn’t it just a minute ago that the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles were off to awful starts to the 2015 season?

The Giants were 0-2. The Eagles were 1-3. It was almost time to start talking about the 2016 draft. Yet, here they are, preparing to play for first place in the NFC East on Monday Night Football.

New York has won three straight games, and the Eagles can get back to .500 when the teams meet tonight. Start the discussion of this one with Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning and Philadelphia quarterback Sam Bradford. Bradford has played much better in the last two weeks.

For Philadelphia, it would help if the Eagles could get high-priced free agent Demarco Murray loose. Murray has only 130 yards on the year in four games. A season after leading the NFL in rushing, he is in 56th place in the running stats.

The Eagles are 6-1 on Monday Night Football against the Giants.
