Email Insights: Alex Sink campaign gets pumped up

It’s time for the Alex Sink campaign to get pumped up!

In the latest email money pitch — called “Energy!” — the campaign boasts of its largest Weekend of Action, which has volunteers fanning over Pinellas County to spread the good word.

The energy level of the 250 volunteers, described as “nothing short of incredible,” is also rather expensive.

To keep up this level of enthusiasm to the March 11 special election, online supporters become a vital part of the grassroots efforts.

Sink asks supporters for $10,000 toward the upcoming January fundraising goal — by chipping in just $3 or more before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to help get the facts out.

Sink volunteers expect to knock on 6,000 doors today, making even more phone calls. Then do the same again tomorrow.

It does not require a case of Red Bulls and coffee to keep up that pace; it takes hard work, coordination and (you guessed it) money.

With all that energy oozing from Sink’s email, it gets a little tiring just reading it. So after donating, take a short nap.
