Everyone has a mom, but not everyone is a mom. That is what sets the Mother’s Day email blast from Gwen Graham above the norm.
Graham’s sons — Graham and Mark Ernest — talk about life growing up with the future candidate, who drove them to band practice and graduations, all the while instilling them with “North Florida values.”
You know … “mom” things.
The email continues with the two young men exclaiming they know Graham would make a great member of Congress. Certainly, it helps that their grandfather was also a popular former governor and U.S. Senator.
How many kids can say that on Mother’s Day?
As this is a campaign email, the boys say the “best Mother’s Day gift we could give our mom is by supporting her campaign” by asking her supporters to chip in $10, $25, $50, so she can reach her “weekly grassroots goal.”
It is sure beats cards, candy and flowers.
