Mike Fasano one step closer to returning to the Florida House after winning HD 36 primary

Populist Mike Fasano is one step closer to a second tour of duty in the Florida House after easily winning the GOP primary in House District 36.

With, Fasano won a three-way primary, taking approximately 85% of the vote. Attorney James Mathieu finished second with  Michael Kennedy of Hudson, who raised just $460 for his campaign received finishing third.

Fasano is all but a shoo-in to return to Tallahassee as the Democrats did not field a candidate in this seat. Joseph Antimo Verola is running as a write-in candidate.
