Continued kudos to the Orlando Sentinel for letting reporter Sarah Lundy cover social networking and technology. Too often, a newspaper’s technology writer gets stuck responding to letters from some idiot looking for advice on how to load Office 2010. Not Lundy, who covers the industry with the same excitement those working in it have for what they are doing.
Lundy’s got an interesting post up today about the six Florida schools being ranked among the top 100 social media colleges, according tostudentadvisor.com.
University of Miami ranked the highest for Florida? schools at No. 8.
University of Florida followed at No. 9.
Full Sail reached No. 34.
Rollins got in at No. 50.
Lynn University hit No. 52.
Saint Leo University topped at No. 55.
The website compared 6,000 colleges, university and post-secondary schools in the country and looked at their ?astery of public social media methods, tools and websites.?More from Lundy here. Oh, and did you notice that Florida State University IS NOT on the list. What’s up with that, Noles?
