Brent Hatley, formerly a producer of the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show producer, is among those hosting a fundraiser for David McKalip, the Tea Party activist running for the District 4 seat on the Saint Petersburg City Council.

In addition to Hatley, who in 2011 lost his own bid for City Council, Michelle Bullard, nice guy Tom DeMint, Bob Esposito (a legislative aide to Senator Jeff Brandes), Paul Kubala, and John Sebesta (not Jim, mind you) are also on the host committee.

The event is scheduled for Friday, April 26. For more information, check out the invitation to the right.
