Former Pinellas state senator Curt Kiser to serve as interim exec. director of Public Service Commission

Chairman Art Graham said he has asked general counsel and former state senator Curt Kiser to serve as interim executive director after accepting the resignation of Tim Devlin on Tuesday, reports the News Service of Florida. Graham said he has asked Commissioner Julie Brown to head a committee that will oversee a search for the new executive director.The commissioners praised Devlin for his 35 years of service but did not explain why he was asked to resign.Graham bluntly disputed a report in the Miami Herald that he talked with FPL lawyer Ken Hoffman.”That article is probably one of the biggest fairy tales I’ve ever read in my life,” Graham said.
