The fourth time was not a charm for Tom Christy as the perennial candidate lost another bid for the Seminole City Commission. Thom Barnhorn and Jim Quinn, who had campaigned together for the two open seats on the Commission won handily on Tuesday night.

With all seventeen precincts reporting, Barnhorn had just under 40% of the vote, Quinn 37% and Christy 16%. Finishing fourth was political newcomer Matt Nilssen, who tried to pull out of the race this year, but did not after discovering the cost to taxpayers of informing voters of the change.
