The Heisman Trophies all went to quarterbacks. But it was running backs who led the way when the ACC and SEC annnounced their 2015 Legends Classes.
FSU running back Warrick Dunn was honored. So were Florida’s Fred Taylor and Miami’s Clinton Portis.
Dunn is FSU’s career rushing leader with 3,959 yards and leader with 49 touchdowns. He is the only FSU back with more than one 1,000 yard season.
Taylor gained 1,292 yards as a senior and scored 13 touchdowns.
Portis is fifth on the UM all-time rushing list with 2,592 yards, including 1,200 during the championship season of 2001.
