Hang on the internet is about to change. Carolyn Martin, writing in Network World, reports on five major changes coming to the Internet.  The major support contracts that the U.S. federal government controls for Internet infrastructure and operations are being rebid. These bids could result in major changes for internet operation and infrastructure. Martin’s piece is a must-read if you operate a major website and especially if your business depends on the Internet.
