Today, the Christian Family Coalition, (CFC), Florida’s tireless human rights and social justice organization announced that Senate President Mike Haridopolos and House Speaker Dean Cannon will headline its 2012 Florida Leadership Prayer Breakfast this Thursday morning, January 26th, at the University Center Club on the campus of Florida State University (FSU) from 7:00 am – 8:30 am.

The Christian Family Coalition, (CFC), issued the following statement:

“The Florida Leadership Prayer breakfast was an annual tradition during the legislative session in Tallahasse through 2006, it was discontinued until last year, when the Christian Family Coalition, (CFC), had the opportunity to restore this grand tradition with Al Cardenas, Chairman, American Conservative Union, (ACU) and House Speaker Dean Cannon.

This year we are honored to welcome, for the first time ever, Senate President Mike Haridopolos and welcome back House Speaker Dean Cannon.

The 2012 Florida Leadeship Prayer Breakfast coincides with the Christian Family Coalition’s “Day At the Capitol”. This year over one-hundred fifty (150) equality advocates from all across Florida will descend upon the state capitol to encourage their state senators and state representatives to support religious equality and women’s rights issues.
