So here’s what the folks at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles — a government bureaucracy not normally known for its creativity — came up with in the way of a new state license plate.
In case you were wondering if the new design sucks, don’t worry, you’re right — it does suck.
I mean, what genius thought to put the words “Sunshine State” on the tag and, you know, not include any freakin’ sunshine? Instead, the plate is lined with puke green and includes a nondescript orange where the letter ‘O’ goes in the word Florida.
How creative!
Anyway, I like Kevin Cate’s design better.
