House has several controversial measures — abortion, school prayer — before it today

The House returns to the floor today with votes expected on a bill allowing students to deliver an inspirational message at school events (SB 98), a bill that would require a 24-hour waiting period before an abortion (HB 277), a measure prohibiting people who have been convicted of drug felonies from collecting government assistance until they complete drug treatment (HB 813), and a ban on Internet gambling cafes (HB 3) among a number of others.
