I called Adam Smith’s “Winner of the Week in Florida politics”

Not soon after Governor Rick Scott appointed Mike Fasano the new Tax Collector of Pasco County, I tweeted

@SaintPetersBlog: Early call for Winner of the Week in Fla. politics: Duke Energy — Fasano leaving Leg.; settlement deal with PSC. #sayfie

Looks like Adam Smith of the Tampa Bay Times agrees with me, as he, in fact, did name Duke Energy (along with Citizens Insurance and Rick Scott) the Winners of the Week in Florida politics because, “One of their loudest critics in the Legislature, Mike Fasano, is effectively muzzled now that Gov. Scott has sent him into obscurity by naming him Pasco tax collector.”

Great minds think alike, huh?
