In House District 5, Marti Coley easily re-elected

Representative Marti Coley appeared headed for easy re-election Tuesday, leading no party candidate Travis Pitts 74 percent to 26 percent in early returns in State House District 5 in the Panhandle.

Coley, R-Marianna, was widely expected to win in the mostly rural district, which sprawls from Santa Rosa Beach on the Panhandle coast to the Alabama and Georgia lines north of Chipley and Marianna.
