It's Tuesday, here's where sh*t stands in Tampa Bay politics – the redistricting edition

The House Redistricting Committee unveiled a dozen proposals for new congressional and state House districts Tuesday in the opening salvo of a political battle for that chamber.

The maps released by the House included seven potential layouts for congressional districts and five possible House scenarios.

Meanwhile, the Senate held its first meeting on maps for congressional and state Senate districts released last week. The Senate is expected to largely go along with the House plan for its districts, and vice versa.

This agreement has left several members questioning Weatherford.
