Late-night update: Injunction against Deveron Gibbons withdrawn by girlfriend

in The Bay and the 'Burg by

Word coming out of the Pinellas Courthouse is that Deveron Gibbons’ girlfriend Rita Wesley has successfully petitioned to have the temporary restraining order against Gibbons withdrawn.

Wesley’s actions now leave a lot of questions unanswered, such as did Deveron really try to run her over..is she still pregnant…why did she decide to have the restraining order lifted?

As much as Deveron will suggest otherwise, the damage to his reputation is already done.  This incident certainly didn’t bolster his already fledgling public profile.

No, what’s really troubling is that, as any victim’s advocate can attest, the last chapter of this story has yet to be written and when it is, it will probably end with someone in jail, the hospital…or worse.
