U.S. Olympic archer Brady Ellison is not — repeat, is not — an Academy Award winner.
Apparently, some people think he looks like one.
The two-time Olympic silver medalist (including one from the team event during the opening weekend of these Rio Games) has been getting plenty of comparisons to Leonardo DiCaprio, mostly because some see facial resemblances.
“I’ve had it told to me before, even when I was younger,” Ellison said. “I personally don’t see a huge resemblance, maybe besides the facial hair. He is a good-looking dude so I guess it’s a compliment.”
There was social-media buzz about the comparison this weekend, and a story out of Europe said Ellison looks “exactly” like DiCaprio.
So happy the internet exists otherwise i wouldn’t have known about Brady Ellison (the slightly more attainable Leo) pic.twitter.com/E9LztqmU5d

Ellison said he wasn’t aware of the fuss until Monday.
“I don’t know what to say about it,” Ellison said. “But I think it’s pretty cool.”
And while Leo might still be on the market, Ellison isn’t: He married Slovenian archer Toja Cerne in April.
