Lew Williams files to run for Pinellas School Board

As I predicted/warned yesterday, former principal and area superintendent Lew Williams filed to run for the Pinellas School Board, joining Keisha Bell and Jim Jackson in the bid to replace Mary Brown, who announced Monday she won’t seek re-election.

Williams retired from Pinellas schools in 2005 after 34 years as a teacher and administrator. He ran for the School Board in 2006, narrowly missing a runoff in the race eventually won by Peggy O’Shea.
