#3 seed Mark Delegal is in late-round shape in the early going so far in TallyMadness ’15, putting up gaudy numbers in his Round of 64 matchup against #14 seed Albert Balido, who was selected by the bracket’s nominating committee for the first time this year.
The favorite has not just jumped out to a lead of nearly 95 percent to 5 percent, but has organized a legion of voters that has garnered the Holland & Knight lobbyist almost 2,000 votes more than any other contender. No stranger to the late rounds, Delegal made the Final Four last year.
The promising upstart Balido could no doubt still mount a comeback with the help of his comrades at Anfield Consutling – including Lori Killinger who is narrowly trailing Ron LaFace of Capital City Consulting, 56 to 44 – though it would be one of more dramatic turnarounds in recent TallyMadness history. The weekend, however, is both competitors’ oyster.
Voting continues at TallyMadness.com from now until midnight on Tuesday, March 31. Like the old Porkchoppers used to say, vote early and vote often!
