Mark Richt just arrived in Miami. But he thinks fans will also remember the arrival of wide receiver Ahmonn Richards.
The Hurricanes landed Richards Wednesday afternoon, lifting the Hurricanes to a 20th-ranked finish in recruiting, according to 247sports.com.
Miami lost two commits, receiver Latrell Williams and cornerback Tyler Byrd, to Tennessee earlier in the day. But the signing of Richards helped to ease the sting. Richt told Richards he wants him to be a freshman all-American.
Combined with receivers Dionte Mullins and Sam Bruce, the Hurricanes could have young weapons for quarterback Brad Kaaya.
