Michele Bachmann comes to Florida; here’s her schedule

Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann be in the Jacksonville, Orlando, Sarasota, and Tampa areas this weekend. The pride of Waterloo, Iowa starts her swing at Angie’s Subs, Friday afternoon in Jacksonville Beach, at an event sponsored by the First Coast Tea Party. Saturday morning, Bachmann will attend a town hall meeting (invite only) in Poinciana south of Orlando. Then Saturday evening, Bachmann speaks at the Florida Family Association’s awards dinner at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. Bachmann then heads over to the Tampa Bay area, where she’ll attend church services in Lutz and then a Sarasota GOP rally.

SUNDAY: Sarasota GOP rally, 4 p.m., ET, Sahib Temple, 600 North Beneva Rd., Sarasota.
